🔥 WHAT. A. DAY! 🔥
We left Norwalk early this morning and hit the fishing grounds around 7am… and it was game on! 🎣
In less than 2 hours we had a 3-man limit, and from there it was catch and release madness until noon — the fish just wouldn’t stop chewing!
This was hands down some of the best blackfishing we’ve ever seen! The morning started slow, but once that bite turned on it was non-stop, lock-and-load action with nothing but quality fish between 4–7 lbs. We had a few shorts in the mix, but nearly every fish was a keeper — and not just keepers, absolute studs! 💪
We landed multiple 6-pounders, a couple over 7 lbs, and the rest were solid 4–5 lb bruisers.
Oh, and the surprise of the day? A slot striper hit a crab on a tog jig — first time we’ve ever seen that happen! 🤯
